
The children of Little Rock Nine Central High School were part of the boiling point of the civil rights movement in the 1960s.

Congress has authorized the Little Rock Nine Central High School as a National Monument. The U.S. National Park Service manages the school in present day.

In February 2018, after my cross country trip, I met Ricki Stevenson who is a direct descendant of one of the members of Little Rock Nine.
