The First Autonomous Ship To Sail Round Trip From San Diego to Hawai’i

In 2018, the company Leidos created the Trimaran, which the U.S. Navy called the Seal Hunter after it acquired full ownership of the drone ship. In February 2019, the Seal Hunter became the first autonomous U.S. Navy ship to sail from San Diego to Pear Harbor, Hawai’i and back.
