
Ron Vernie Dellums served thirteen terms in the U.S. House of Representatives and he served as the Mayor of Oakland from 2007 to 2011. During Ron Dellums’s tenure as a Congressman he became the founder of the Congressional Black Caucus for the U.S. Congress. On July 30, 2018, Ron Delums passed away.
