On March 20, 2019 the Loma Prieta History Musuem hosted a lecture about history of the Ohlone Native American tribes in the Bay Area of California.
There used to be a total of 50 different Ohlone tribes within the Bay Area.
The historican’s friend, who drew the map, did not establish tribal borders that met with borders of other tribes, because the natives had gaps that were not under the jurisdiction of any tribe.
