In 1853, Hiram Daniel Scott built a home in Scott’s Valley, California.
Presently, the historical structure is known as the Hiram Daniel Scott House and is located within Santa Cruz County’s MacDorsa Park.
Deborah, my tour guide, was the author of a history book on Scott’s Valley.
