Cinequest Interview With English Actor Bill Nighy

On March 6th, 2019 Bill Nighy received the Maverick Spirit Award at the Cinequest Film & Creativity Festival. Bill started auditioning to be an actor after a woman he was dating, for only a month, in England suggested that he become one.

Bill was interviewed by a former San Jose City Mayor.

During the interview Bill Nighy mentioned that he goes to the United Nations G8 and G12 Meetings to lobby for increased funding for OxFam.

Bill Nighy mentioned his comedy film that was screened to guests before the interview.

This Cinequest event was held at the California Theatre of San Jose.
