The Loudoun Musuem, which was established in Leesburg, Virginia, hosts a multitude of exhibits which consist of local history on the American Revolution, the American Civil War, historic maps of Loudoun County and more.
A log cabin, which was preserved from the 1700s, is on the property outside of the musuem.
In addition, two historical markers regarding the General Robert Edward Lee’s Army’s move to have the Army of Northern Virginia recapture Leesburg and then to invade the state of Maryland during the Battle of Antietam, also known as the Battle of Sharpsburg, are by the musuem grounds.
