The Hanover County Courthouse – The Site Where Patrick Henry Argued the Parsons Case In 1763

The Hanover County, Virginia Courthouse was constructed in 1740 and would become the site where founding father Patrick Henry would get involved in the Parsons case in 1763.

The structure sustained damage from both the Revolutionary War and the U.S. Civil War and was used as a courthouse until the 1970s.
