The Muex Home Musuem

John Muex was a confederate surgeon, serving in a Tennessee regiment, during the American Civil War. John moves to Fresno in 1888 since his wife had a medical consolation, in which she could better handle in dry weather.

John’s confederate outfit was on display. The blue robe around his waist showed that he was a surgeon.

Inside of the home showed more of John Muex’s artifacts, including the sign of the doctors office that he had in downtown Fresno.
