Preservation Action Council of San Jose

The Preservation Action Council of San Jose, an organization that works toward the preservation of local buildings and structures, conducts their board meetings at the Empire Fire House in Keller History Park.

The Empire Firehouse was built in 1869, and like many other buildings in Keller History Park, was relocated to that park.

During the board meeting on March 19, 2018 the Preservation Council Society board discussed work to preserve the Ross building in downtown and helping some of the board members recent tour of the Ashworth-Remillard house, a home built by a Gold Rush pioneer that I had visited earlier that day.
