The “Giant Animals” Paintings From The Former Noah’s Arc Restarunt

The San Mateo History Museum began to feature Richard DeTreville’s “Giant Animals” paintings, which used to hang on the walls of the historic Noah’s Arch Restaraunt, on February 2018. The series of paintings now hang underneath the dome of the former San Mateo Federal courthouse building, which currently is owned by the museum.

The museum put the paintings on display on “Black History Month” because Noah Williams the owner of Noah’s Arc was an African American businessman.

The paintings themselves were quite stunning to see.
